| The center was founded in 1995. The mission of the center is to strengthen researches conducted on communication technology with focus on 800-3000NHZ wireless communications and mobile communications. The researches currently undergoing in the center include wireless communications, space communications, satellite communications, RF circuits design, high-speed networks, digital signal processing and ATM. There are five major and well-established laboratories located in the center including Advanced Communications Lab, Wireless Communication Lab, Video Processing Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, and ATM Lab. The center has long-term and very close cooperation with nearby companies and research institutes due to the advantage of geographic location. The providing of teaching and training programs for future communication system specialists and technicians is also the goal to be pursued in the center. |
